When you buy an inkjet printer, you normally get drivers for Windows and Macintosh operating systems, and that's about it. There is scope for using other software with your printer, though, and this list gives you some idea of what is available. Colour Management SoftwareDriver SoftwareIf you aren't using Windows or a Macintosh, your printer probably won't come with drivers for use with your operating system. One solution to this is the Gimp Print plug-in for the open source Gimp image editor, which can also be used as a driver for use with GhostScript, a free PostScript clone.
